If I had a million dollars

If I had a million dollars, I know just what I’d do

Payoff every debt that’s owed, school loans and mother’s too

Take me to a Skechers store and buy myself a new pair of shoes

The house would be remodeled to last another hundred years

An account exclusively for bills set up to relinquish any more fears

Id buy a Volkswagon van and set it up in back

Spend a year traveling the states, just stopping and sleeping wherever I’m at

The children would each have new clothes, dressed from head to toe

Summer shorts and winter coats to be warm when it decides to snow

I’d spend a month in Broadway seats a different show every night

and drive to the top of a mountain to catch the morning light

We would go on vacations, mom the kids and I that’d probably take a year

Trying to make up for all the lost time and the buckets of tears

I’d go back to school and take classes on everything I want to know

Finally, I’d have my degree, a piece of paper and a license to show

Then I’d start my own business and I would be CEO

Half a dozen charities, a house in New Orleans

Paid off Mom’s property shed have her cabin in the trees

I’d take some time and write some lines and follow every dream

Invest well, secure our health that's what a million would mean
